We have been asked by some very observant GREENBEAN customers as to why we have allowed the bushes to overgrow the gutters on the Roasthouse. This is not rampant Amazon Rainforest (as was said…). No, this is done on purpose. As everyone knows we are very ecologically minded at GREENBEAN so we use a rainwater harvesting system to clean the smoke created by the coffee roasting process. This water is collected via the roof and we have found that botanical growth (bushes, to you and me) is a fantastic way to filter any dirt from progressing into our pumps. Simples?🌿💧 ...
